About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page Sales. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating and developing sales of heating systems selling through regional networks, including housing associations, Local Authorities, Councils, landlords, developers, house builders, installers, specifiers, architects, and energy consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop sales of heating systems selling through regional networks, including social housing providers, local government bodies, property developers, and construction companies.
  • Provide solution packages with an in-depth understanding of customer needs, usage, and installation environments.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and form solid connections with key decision-makers.
  • Work with technical support to create compelling installation plans.
  • Respond to customer requests for information, quotes, and proposals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the heating or electrical systems sector is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of selling to social housing providers, local government bodies, and property developers.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience of construction-related products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and deliver long-term goals.
  • Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce or Microsoft 365.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000.
  • A car allowance.
  • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
