Creative Arts Facilitator

Location: Maidstone

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours weekly/fortnightly

Are you passionate about various forms of artistic expression? This role is an excellent opportunity for you to make a difference.

We are seeking an individual who can guide a group session for the individuals we support at our facility in Maidstone. The sessions will encompass engaging activities, including games, arts & crafts, and other creative endeavors aimed at assisting individuals with visual impairments and learning challenges in exploring their artistic talents. You will play a crucial role in inspiring and encouraging participants to enhance their creative skills, aiding them in the development of their projects while fostering their ability to think independently.

  • Capability to assist with sighted guidance/orientation when necessary

Please note that applicants must be over the age of 18 to be considered for this position. To express your interest in this role, please complete the application form provided. To ensure the safety of those we support, a DBS check and two satisfactory references will be required prior to confirming your volunteer role. Additionally, as you will be working directly with vulnerable individuals, you will need to complete safeguarding training, along with any role-specific training.
