Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Accommodation Team at Central England Coop. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of colleagues to achieve business objectives and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals and objectives, and provide coaching and development opportunities to help colleagues grow and succeed.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the store, including managing stock, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups, charities, and partners to promote the store and its services.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to drive business growth, including developing and implementing sales strategies and promotions.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience of leading and managing a team in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and community partners.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop business strategies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
