Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our care team, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the running of the shift, delegating and planning activities and responsibilities to staff as appropriate and dealing with any issues and problems as they arise
- Share with other staff in meeting the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the privacy and dignity of the individual and promotes independence
- Administer prescribed medication in accordance with the relevant procedures, individual care plans and risk assessments pertaining to the same
- Help in the care of the residents' physical environment and in the general day-to-day activities of the home
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
Requirements:
- QCF / NVQ level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards
- A genuine interest in providing person-centered care
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience working within the care sector or mental health would be an advantage
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
