Turning Point Leicestershire and Rutland Substance Use Service is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Recovery Workers, overseeing the performance and development of your team, and ensuring excellent standards of treatment and care for our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the service in maintaining excellent standards of treatment and care for our service users.
- Oversee the implementation of treatment pathways for people affected by their use of substances.
- Work with a range of partner agencies and represent the service in various settings, promoting the service and encouraging referrals.
- Provide oversight to the residential rehabilitation and inpatient detoxification pathways, establishing clear processes and communication routes between ourselves and service providers.
Requirements
- Knowledge, skills, and experience of working with people who have experienced difficulties related to their substance use and delivering recognized psychosocial interventions/approaches.
- Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to lead a discussion to constructive conclusions and the ability to feedback.
- Experience of successfully managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships.
- Time management skills – working under very tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Experience in evaluation techniques and the ability to adapt practice to get results.
