The IT department plays a crucial role in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the technological resources of PKF Francis Clark LLP.
In this role, you will primarily work from our Exeter office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day each week.
Daily Responsibilities
Each day will present unique challenges and a variety of tasks, including:
- Delivering first-line IT desktop support, both remotely and in-person
- Assisting in the onboarding process by providing user training for new employees
- Managing user accounts, including setting up new profiles in Active Directory and Exchange
- Building and maintaining end-user hardware
- Performing general administrative duties within the department, such as managing spreadsheets and asset databases for purchasing, licensing, and resource management.
- Supporting IT initiatives and project roll-outs
Candidate Profile
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- Strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and a genuine willingness to assist others
- Excellent communication abilities, including a professional phone demeanor and clear writing
- Organizational skills and attention to detail when handling data and software
Additionally, you should have knowledge, experience, and skills in the following areas:
- A comprehensive understanding of IT fundamentals, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
- Proficient troubleshooting capabilities
- An understanding of the significance of security and confidentiality in a professional services context.
Experience or a strong interest in any of the following would be beneficial:
- Citrix
- Business and Accounting software
- MS Teams
- Document Management Systems
- Mobile device support.
