About the Role

Cedar Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of Contract and Supplier Relationship Manager. This is a fixed-term contract role that will run for 18 months, with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization's contract management and supplier relationship management functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement best-in-class approaches to contract management, driving change and supporting the organization's growth targets.
  • Oversee strategies that drive growth, mitigate risk, meet legislative and policy requirements, and deliver outstanding service.
  • Implement and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on contract management and supplier relationship management.
Requirements
  • MCIPS qualification or alternative comparable qualification.
  • Experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector, ideally in a role covering contract management and/or supplier relationship management.
  • Understanding of Public Sector Procurement legislation and policy.
  • Strong background in implementing best practice strategies.
