Job Title: Peace Partnership Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peace Partnership Development Officer to join our team at The Victims and Survivors Service (VSS). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of our PEACEPLUS project.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to the VSS PEACEPLUS Partnership Manager in the delivery of the PEACEPLUS project. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective project management strategies, monitoring progress against key outcomes, and analyzing complex financial and non-financial information to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful delivery of the PEACEPLUS project
  • Monitor progress against key outcomes and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Analyze complex financial and non-financial information to inform decision-making
  • Develop positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including staff, partners, and external agencies
  • Coordinate team activities and provide support to staff as needed
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent (including English and Maths)
  • Minimum of 3 years practical project or programme management experience
  • Practical experience of developing Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and monitoring progress against key outcomes
  • Experience of developing positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience of analyzing complex financial and non-financial information and producing recommendations to management
  • Experience of drafting operating manuals and instructions
  • Experience in staff management and/or coordinating team activities
