Job Summary:

The Victims and Survivors Service (VSS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peace Partnership Officer to support the operational delivery of the VSS PEACEPLUS Partnership. The successful candidate will work closely with the VSS PEACEPLUS Partnership Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the VSS PEACEPLUS project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the VSS PEACEPLUS Partnership Manager in the operational delivery of the VSS PEACEPLUS Partnership.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain positive relationships.
  • Analyse complex financial and non-financial information to inform project decisions.
  • Develop and maintain operating manuals, instructions, and guidance on processes and procedures.
  • Provide staff management and coordination of team activities.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent (including English and Maths).
  • Minimum of 3 years practical project or programme management experience.
  • Practical experience of developing Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and monitoring progress against key outcomes.
  • Experience of developing positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of analysing complex financial and non-financial information and producing recommendations to management.
  • Experience of drafting operating manuals including instructions and guidance on processes and procedures to be followed.
  • Experience in staff management and/or co-ordinating team activities.
