About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at Educators Wales. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our Educational Psychology Service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the further development of our Educational Psychology Service, leveraging your expertise to drive positive change for children and young people.
  2. Work closely with our team to provide high-quality educational psychology services to schools and settings, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  3. Participate in strategic developments within the Local Authority, supporting the Inclusion Service and schools in taking forward ALN reform.
  4. Engage in collaborative research projects with Cardiff University, contributing to the advancement of educational psychology practice.
  5. Supervise Educational Psychologists in Training and contribute to task and finish groups, sharing your expertise and experience with the next generation of professionals.
Requirements
  1. Hold a Degree in Psychology (or equivalent) as recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a professional post-graduate qualification in Educational Psychology, accredited by the BPS.
  2. Be fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
