About the Role

The Cardiff Educational Psychology Service is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our strategic plans and contributing to the implementation of our inclusion and reform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic plans, working closely with our leadership team and other stakeholders.
  • Support the Inclusion Service and schools in taking forward ALN reform, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in a range of CPD activities, including joint training with neighbouring EP Services, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Develop an area of special interest, working closely with our team to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Contribute to the future direction of the Educational Psychology Service, working collaboratively with our team to shape our vision and goals.
  • Undertake supervision of Educational Psychologists in Training and contribute to task and finish groups, as required.

Requirements

  • Hold a Degree in Psychology (or equivalent) as recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a professional post-graduate qualification in Educational Psychology, accredited by the BPS.
  • Be fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
