- The Cardiff Parenting & Play Services are guided by a Principal Educational Psychologist.
- Parents Plus is a psychology-driven parenting initiative within Cardiff Parenting, acknowledged by the Parent-Infant Foundation as a Specialized Parent-Infant Relationship team. This team collaborates with parents who are expecting or have young children.
- The Parents Plus team comprises Educational Psychologists and proficient early years parenting practitioners, delivering customized support to parents and young children in their homes. Their interventions are specifically designed and clinically overseen by the psychologists, who also offer training and consultation.
- We operate from various locations and have the ability to provide remote services.

- In the role of Clinical Lead and Manager of the service, the Senior Educational Psychologist will be tasked with:
- Overseeing and directing a psychology-informed parenting service aimed at parents of infants and young children.
- Providing training to staff, supervising the interventions conducted by the Parents Plus team utilizing evidence-based psychological methods, and contributing to the effective delivery of these services.
- Improving outcomes for early years children by equipping parents to positively influence their child's development, wellbeing, and mental health.
- Engaging in the development of parenting policies, fostering inter-agency collaboration, and reflecting on enhancements to Early Help services.
Salary: B - B + with the potential to earn up to SPA (£, - £, up to £,)
