Job Title: Residential Children's Home Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Home team in Gloucester. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality childcare and support to young people.
  • Work on shift to ensure the Home runs efficiently and effectively, safeguarding young people at all times.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans and strategies to meet the needs of young people.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
Requirements:
  • Good overall standard of education.
  • Working towards or hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
  • Previous experience of working directly with young people with challenging behavior.
  • Good report writing and numeracy skills.
  • Well-organized with good administration skills. IT literate.
