We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Services team in Gloucester. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and lead a team of Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality childcare and ensure the needs of young people are met.
- Work on shift to ensure the Home runs efficiently and effectively, creating a safe and homely environment for young people.
- Deliver supervision to Residential Support Workers in accordance with company policy.
- Comply with the Company's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Support effective multi-agency working and positive relationships with staff, the local community, and other professional agencies.
- Good overall standard of education.
- Working towards or hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
- Previous experience of working directly with young people with challenging behaviour.
- Good report writing and numeracy skills, well organized with good administration skills, and IT literate.
