Job Title: Residential Children's Home Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Home team in Gloucester. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the needs of young people in our care are met and providing a positive and safe living experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality childcare.
  • Work on shift to ensure the Home runs efficiently and effectively to a high standard.
  • Comply with the Company's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
  • Support effective multi-agency working and positive relationships with staff, the local community, and other professional agencies.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of young people's Plans.
  • Comply with legislation and company policies on Health & Safety, Fire, and Data Protection.
Essential Skills:
  • Good overall standard of education.
  • Working towards or hold Level Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
  • Previous experience of working directly with young people with challenging behavior.
  • Good report writing and numeracy skills.
