Job Title: Children Residential Home Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Services team in Gloucester. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality childcare and ensure the needs of young people are met.
  • Work on shift to ensure the Home runs efficiently and effectively, creating a safe and homely environment for young people.
  • Deliver supervision to Residential Support Workers in accordance with company policy.
  • Comply with the Company's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Support effective multi-agency working and positive relationships with staff, the local community, and other professional agencies.
Essential Skills:
  • Good overall standard of education.
  • Working towards or hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
  • Previous experience of working directly with young people with challenging behaviour.
  • Good report writing and numeracy skills, well-organized with good administration skills, and IT literate.
