About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment hire business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enquiry Handling: Respond to customer enquiries regarding equipment hire and service, providing timely and accurate information to meet their needs.
  • Breakdown Management: Manage breakdowns efficiently, coordinating with our engineering team to ensure prompt resolution and minimizing downtime for our customers.
  • Job Card Management: Update job cards on our internal database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on equipment status and availability.
  • Machine Availability: Monitor and manage the availability of our equipment, ensuring that it is always up-to-date in our systems.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with our engineering and transport teams to ensure that equipment is delivered to customer sites on time and in good condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the plant, powered access, tool, or material handling industries is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills are required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
