Job Summary:

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and for implementing quality management systems to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control activities, including audits and inspections, to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Communication: Communicate quality-related information to stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or quality assurance.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of auditing techniques and quality assurance software.
