Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems, including fault diagnosis, repair, and calibration.
- Install and commission new equipment and services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our electrical and mechanical systems, including Building Management Systems, fire alarms, power systems, and infrastructure.
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 support for critical maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Formal craft apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and/or relevant industry experience.
- Higher National Certificate of Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including Building Management Systems, fire alarms, power systems, and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
