Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures and documentation.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality management systems and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and complaints.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality of raw materials and components.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure quality of products and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
- Experience with auditing and assessment techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with quality management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as FDA and CE.
- Experience with quality management systems in a space industry setting.
