Job Title: Ganger/Team Leader


Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled Ganger/Team Leader to join our team in a leadership role in road construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects safely and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects safely and efficiently
  • Liaise with the Griffiths Streetworks Team to ensure Streetworks Notices are updated and closed down
  • Order plant and materials as required to deliver tasks
  • Liaise with Traffic Management providers to ensure correct Traffic Management is implemented and sites are cleared
  • Ensure point of work risk assessments are completed on each job/project, so a safe method of working is achieved
  • Work on a standby rota (1 week in 4) to deliver emergency works out of hours

The Ideal Candidate:



  • Deep drainage/pipelaying experience
  • Water Hygiene card
  • Confined Space working (C&G Med Risk minimum)
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • COSHH awareness
  • Temporary Works Supervisor trained
  • CAT 4+ trained

Education/Certification Requirements:



  • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
