Operations Director - Manufacturing and Engineering
We are seeking a seasoned operations leader with a passion for driving excellence in manufacturing and engineering to join our team at Newman Stewart. As a leading Executive Search Firm, we specialize in connecting top talent with leading organizations across various industries, including manufacturing and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational objectives with overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of managers and supervisors, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize individual and team performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning, promoting employee engagement and development.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in operations leadership roles within manufacturing and engineering, with a strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business performance and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
