Head of Sponsorship and Partnerships

Carter Murray is seeking an experienced Head of Sponsorship to join their team. This role will be responsible for building and leading all sponsorship activity for events and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive sponsorship strategy plan for the next 2-3 years, in collaboration with the Marketing Director.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Events team, to set sponsorship targets and budgets.
- Work with the existing Head of Sponsorships to ensure a smooth handover.
- Provide regular reporting on sponsorship forecasts and activity to the Executive team and stakeholders.
- Manage the final activities and analysis of upcoming events.
- Oversee all sponsorship activity for events in 2025.
- Proven experience in sponsorship or fundraising in the B2B space, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Previous experience in developing a sponsorship strategy.
- Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels in a complex international environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with project management tools such as Salesforce or Asana.
- Experience in financial services or a similar field.
- Language skills, other than English, are desirable.
- Knowledge of online event platforms and digital event technologies.
