Nursing Associate/Assistant Practitioner
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of those we serve. If you are eager to join a forward-thinking and dynamic team, your enthusiasm and commitment may align perfectly with our needs.
This role is part of a comprehensive team that operates across the region, and possessing a valid driver's license is a requirement. The primary office is located in a central area, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility in working arrangements, which may include office-based, regional travel, and occasional remote work, as agreed upon with the Team Manager.
This position is available for experienced practitioners or as a developmental opportunity for newly qualified individuals.
For experienced candidates, this role offers the chance to gain valuable experience within the team. Upon meeting the necessary competencies, there is potential for progression to a higher band level, with the timeline for advancement being flexible based on individual and mentor assessments.
Main Responsibilities
In this role, you will receive support and guidance to deliver high-quality, person-centered care. You will assist young individuals and their families during critical moments, whether they are new to our services or require enhanced support while already engaged with our programs. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting assessments
- Implementing risk management strategies
- Providing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs
You will collaborate within a Multi-Disciplinary Team, working alongside community and ward-based professionals.
For those in the developmental role, you will manage a caseload under the supervision of a qualified Mental Health Nurse or Practitioner until you are ready to take on full caseload responsibilities. Once you reach the appropriate band level, you will independently manage your caseload, with ongoing support from the team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to teamwork while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. This position is open to professionals, including newly qualified practitioners who meet the essential criteria. As a developmental role, it offers numerous opportunities for learning, growth, and the enhancement of your existing skills and knowledge.
About Our Organization

To fulfill our mission, we seek to recruit high-caliber candidates who share our vision and values. As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from under-represented groups, including individuals with disabilities and members of ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ communities.
