Position Overview
This role is integral to the expanding team of research nurses and practitioners within the Windsor Research Unit at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will oversee the establishment and daily management of clinical studies and trials. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care throughout research initiatives, ensuring effective clinical activities, and monitoring participants through their care pathways.

This is a fixed-term contract position ( hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
The individual in this role will provide continuous support, guidance, and information to patients and volunteers regarding their involvement in clinical research, ensuring informed consent is effectively obtained. They will communicate with patients, their families, and caregivers about all facets of research activities.
The role involves promoting and delivering clinical trials and other research initiatives within the organization, ensuring that daily practices uphold the highest standards of governance, clinical effectiveness, safety, and patient experience.
