About This Role
As an Advanced Practice Training Programme Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by guiding and supporting the development of advanced practitioners across various clinical areas. You'll be instrumental in fostering a high-quality learning environment that empowers trainees to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on national advancing practice agendas and educational requirements for advanced practice trainees.
- Collaborate with healthcare institutions to integrate advanced practice trainees into diverse clinical settings.
- Develop and implement training programs that align with the evolving needs of the healthcare landscape.
- Mentor and support trainees throughout their development journey, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Promote inter-professional collaboration and knowledge sharing among faculty, trainees, and learners.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant healthcare field.
- Membership to a regulatory body or fellowship of a college, faculty, or professional association.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare education management or commissioning.
- Proven experience in supporting and developing advanced practice trainees.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
