Job Title: Senior Vice President, Strategy

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President, Strategy to lead our Media Planning and Strategy functions for a high-profile and fast-paced account. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth through innovative media strategies and a deep understanding of the research methodologies that underpin these insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies to advance client business goals
  • Lead a team of media planners and researchers to uncover and expand upon industry-leading insights
  • Direct long-range planning and development of campaigns to ensure best use of organizational resources
  • Manage budgeting, cost control, and scheduling to optimize business performance
  • Provide staffing recommendations and daily supervision to all accounts
  • Drive best-in-class insight, data-informed strategy, and innovation
  • Participate in new business efforts, including development of new business opportunities and pitches
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of media planning experience, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Experience with integrated, multi-media marketing projects, with an emphasis on OTT/streaming space
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with ability to manage budget and control costs
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, with ability to think clearly and diplomatically in complex discussions
  • Ability to establish and encourage cross-sharing of work and best practices across agency and client teams

Zenith is a leading agency that helps clients achieve commercial marketing success through innovative media strategies and research-driven insights. We are committed to building a talented team that shares our passion for driving business growth through media excellence.

This is a hybrid position working 3 days per week in our temporary Birmingham, MI location. The position will move to our permanent location in downtown Detroit when the office opens, with the same 3 days per week hybrid schedule.
