Senior Vice President, Strategy

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Vice President, Strategy to lead our Media Planning and Strategy functions for a high-profile and fast-paced account at Zenith.

About the Role

The successful candidate will leverage their experience, knowledge, and skills to drive fresh thinking, balancing client, agency, and team needs. They will be responsible for holistic account oversight, developing, implementing, and executing strategy to advance client business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a scaled brand strategy, planning, and research capability in an agency environment, with evidence of breakthrough innovation across these disciplines.
  • Direct the long-range planning and development of campaigns to ensure best use of organizational resources.
  • Responsible for budgeting, controlling costs, planning, and scheduling around cost concerns.
  • Provide staffing recommendations and daily supervision to all accounts.
  • Drive best-in-class insight, data-informed strategy, and innovation.
  • Participate in new business efforts, including development of new business opportunities and new business pitches (as needed).
Requirements
  • 12+ years of media planning experience.
  • Experience with integrated, multi-media marketing projects, with an emphasis on OTT/streaming space.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a budget, control costs, plan, and schedule around cost concerns for business unit.
What We Offer

This is a hybrid position working 3 days per week in our temporary Birmingham, MI location. The position will move to our permanent location in downtown Detroit when the office opens, with the same 3 days per week hybrid schedule.
