Restaurant Manager Opportunity at Quod Restaurant & Bar

Quod Restaurant & Bar, a bustling city centre restaurant, bar & terrace with over 250 seats, is seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to join our management team. Located on Oxford's famous High Street, we are open all day, every day, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner. Our menu features European classics with an emphasis on British produce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of restaurant staff to deliver excellent customer service and high-quality food and drink experiences
  • Develop and implement effective restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food preparation
  • Monitor and control restaurant costs, including food, labor, and overheads
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a restaurant management role, with a strong track record of delivering excellent customer service and high-quality food and drink experiences
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • High-level written English and strong IT literacy
