About the RoleThe role will require you to support children with SEMH or SEND needs who struggle to regulate their emotions.
As a Youth Support Worker, you will have a number of transferable skills and experience that will provide a unique skill set to support children with additional needs.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Offer emotional and behavioural support to students.
- Work closely with teachers and staff to implement Educational Health Care Plans.
- A passion for working with children and young people with SEND.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
- A CV covering your educational and employment history.
