About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth and Schools Coordinator to join our LFC Foundation team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality secondary school programme across Merseyside, supporting young people who are marginalized, at risk of offending behavior, and those who are not fulfilling their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accredited qualifications, including the Prince's Trust and Sports Leaders, to young people.
  • Design and implement an educational programme that increases engagement of young people inside and outside education.
  • Collaborate with schools and stakeholders to develop a curriculum timetable that aligns with the National Curriculum and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with schools leads and other stakeholders to support young people identified for the programme.
  • Develop and manage a timetable that is inclusive of all, incorporating group work and one-to-one mentoring sessions when required.
  • Ensure adherence to LFC Foundation, school, and partner safeguarding procedures.
  • Conduct self-assessment and quality assurance procedures to maintain high-level performance.
  • Manage risk across schools to ensure the safety of young people and staff.
Requirements

To be successful, you will have experience in planning and delivering educational sessions, working with vulnerable children and young people. You will be able to demonstrate experience in identifying and signposting young people to other support services and opportunities, as well as collecting and analyzing data. You will hold a relevant level 3 qualification in Education and Teaching or have experience as a Youth Work Practice or Youth Support Worker, including a Level 1 in safeguarding young people.

You will have knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum, inclusive youth work practice, and mentoring in a youth work context. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to implement differentiation throughout the curriculum, self-assess and evaluate programme delivery, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
