About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating with transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and distribute purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Enter purchase orders against orders in our internal system.
  • Liaise with transport companies to ensure accurate delivery timeframes for goods.
  • Report any damage to goods in transit to suppliers.
  • Arrange for the replacement of any damaged or missing goods in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in using Sage or another purchase order generation system.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Native or fluent Italian speaker - an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience in liaising with transport companies and managing delivery schedules.
