Kody, an innovative Fintech organization focused on transforming online payment systems and financial services for conventional enterprises, is seeking a skilled Backend Kotlin Developer to enhance their vibrant team.

In the role of Backend Kotlin Developer at Kody, you will be instrumental in the design and upkeep of various software elements within the company's platform. Your responsibilities will encompass working on products such as mobile point-of-sale systems, payment processing terminals, e-commerce payment gateways, and additional financial service offerings. A strong command of Kotlin and Java, along with proficiency in cloud development utilizing containerization technologies, is vital for this position.

The perfect candidate will exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills, thrive in collaborative environments, and maintain a proactive mindset towards fulfilling organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and sustain software components of Kody's platform
  • Diagnose system challenges and deliver necessary support
  • Engage in code evaluations and contribute to the team's development workflow
  • Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to pinpoint areas for software development enhancement
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in Kotlin/Java development

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in backend Kotlin/Java software engineering
  • Familiarity with SQL databases such as Postgres or MySQL
  • Solid understanding of APIs, particularly REST or gRPC
  • Experience with Git version control, preferably GitHub
  • Practical experience in cloud computing and CI/CD deployment, utilizing tools like GitHub Actions
  • Expertise in unit testing frameworks
  • Awareness of agile development methodologies
