Role Overview:

The company is on the lookout for a skilled Lead Software Engineer proficient in Java and Kotlin to join their expanding team. In this position, you will be tasked with the development and upkeep of resilient, scalable, and secure backend services using Java and Kotlin. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage with AWS services and contribute to frontend development utilizing TypeScript/JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fintech advancements, possess robust technical expertise, and excel in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and sustain backend services leveraging Java and Kotlin.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver superior solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Employ AWS services to construct and deploy scalable and dependable applications.
  • Assist in frontend development with TypeScript/JavaScript as needed.
  • Engage in code evaluations, architectural deliberations, and sprint planning meetings.
  • Guide junior engineers and disseminate best practices to foster continuous learning and growth within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Java and Kotlin development, with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot intricate issues.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
