Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and emotional support to individuals dealing with psychiatric conditions, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities and therapeutic interventions as directed by the clinical team, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all service users.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity and respect among service users, staff, and the wider community, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of clients, providing regular updates to the clinical team and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all safeguarding procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of care.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Mental Health Support Worker role or a related field, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
