Job Summary

Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Community Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our inpatient services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients on the Lime Ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide medication management and psychotherapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with community services to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Completion of a psychiatric training program
  • Experience working in inpatient mental health services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
