In this capacity, you will be instrumental in the design and oversight of electro-mechanical systems, guiding projects from initial concept through to implementation. Your expertise will be utilized in a variety of tasks, including computer-aided analysis, modeling, and prototyping.

As a senior figure within the team, you will be responsible for contributing to design documentation, leading and participating in project reviews, and offering mentorship and support to all members of the mechanical engineering division.

This position is primarily office-based in Yeovil, with some travel required to client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of electro-mechanical systems from concept to completion.
  • Develop and manage requirements for systems and subsystems.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the Electro-Mechanical team.
  • Travel to customer sites as necessary.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in Electro-Mechanical Design.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, 2D drawings, MATLAB, and Simulink.
  • Possession of a full UK Driving License and readiness to travel.
