In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and oversight of electro-mechanical systems, guiding projects from initial concept through to implementation. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of computer-aided analysis, modeling, and prototyping.
As a senior member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for creating design documentation, leading and participating in design reviews, and offering mentorship and support to fellow mechanical engineers.
This position is primarily office-based in Yeovil, with occasional travel required to client locations.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Electro-Mechanical Design, demonstrating a successful history of managing projects from conception to installation.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong expertise in orthographic drawings and proficiency in computer-based modeling tools such as MATLAB or Simulink.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding team members due to the senior nature of the role.
