Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer - Senior Position


About the Role:

  1. Lead the design and implementation of electro-mechanical systems from concept to installation.
  2. Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  3. Mentor and provide guidance to the Electro-Mechanical team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Lead design reviews and provide guidance on design documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  3. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  4. Travel to customer sites to provide technical support and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in electro-mechanical design, with a proven track record of delivering projects from concept to implementation.
  2. Proficiency in 3D CAD models, 2D drawing, MATLAB, and Simulink, with a strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and their integration.
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
  4. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
