Exciting Opportunity: A unique position has opened for a Junior Financial Analyst with a fully sponsored qualification.

Our client is seeking candidates with a strong foundation in Mathematics and English, ideally holding GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade B or higher, along with an AAT qualification or a comparable credential.

Essential Experience: Familiarity with purchase and sales ledger systems, payroll systems, and financial management systems is essential.

Position Details: This is a full-time, permanent role (37 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Financial Reporting: Collaborate with our finance experts to produce precise monthly financial reports.
  • Financial Operations: Manage accruals, prepayments, and ensure accurate accounting of income and expenditures.
  • Budget Management: Maintain our budgeting system for accurate financial forecasting.
  • Financial Documentation: Assist in the preparation of essential financial documents.
  • Payroll Accuracy: Ensure payroll reconciliations are within a £5 tolerance.
  • End-of-Month Responsibilities: Support with schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit preparations.
  • Asset Management: Aid in the upkeep of fixed asset records.
  • Query Resolution: Provide timely and professional support to the Central Finance Team by addressing queries.
  • Audit Support: Assist in ensuring auditors have all necessary information.
  • Financial Compliance: Uphold accounts in accordance with the organization's Financial Procedures Manual.
  • Transaction Review: Scrutinize transactions to ensure accuracy.

Administrative Support: Provide assistance to Finance Managers as needed, utilizing MS Office and Arbor effectively.

Report Development: Contribute to the creation of reports and financial guidance documents.
