About the Role:
Vertical Advantage is seeking a highly skilled Category Development Manager to join our team. As a Category Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing and delivering inspiring category solutions and recommendations that drive category growth and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building trusted category partnerships with key retailers and suppliers to drive category growth and business growth.
- Developing and delivering category solutions and recommendations that meet the needs of our customers and drive business results.
- Leading the commercial agenda and driving business growth through category development and strategy.
- Providing ad hoc analysis and insights to support our sales team in delivering business objectives.
- Ensuring customer trends and opportunities are being shared and shaping the development of business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in category development and strategy.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
