We are seeking a highly skilled Category Development Manager to join our team at Vertical Advantage. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our Managed Convenience retailers and Out of Home suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver inspiring category solutions and recommendations that drive category growth and overall business growth.
- Take ownership of key category processes, including internal and external Period Reporting, and provide ad hoc analysis to support our sales team in delivering its objectives.
- Ensure customer trends and opportunities are being shared and shaping the development of business opportunities.
- Lead the commercial agenda, driving business growth through strategic category planning and development.
- Proven experience in category development and management, with a strong understanding of the FMCG industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business growth.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
