Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Director to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our EMEA Softlines team, you will be responsible for managing and executing the Home category strategy across the region, driving revenue growth and ensuring consistent approach with other regional and global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategic plans for the Home categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
- Lead relationships with regional/multi-territory licensees, negotiating and executing licensing deals, onboarding, business plans, range creation and management, distribution, marketing plans, forecasting, reporting, and performance management.
- Support the Director – Softlines with the management of the EMEA Softlines community, focusing on the Home categories, and identify new trends and product innovation to meet consumer demand and enhance WBD brands in the market.
- Manage revenue responsibility for the Home categories by category and by brand for EMEA, supporting the Director – Softlines with regular forecasting cycles, budget setting, performance analysis, and Long-Range Plan.
- Support and nurture team spirit, contributing to Regional Franchise and Category team, and virtual Toys and Publishing teams across the region, including Agents.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of previous regional Home or Fashion licensing and/or retail buying experience required.
- Ideally educated to graduate standard or be of graduate calibre.
- Makes clear points, building coherent arguments tailored to the audience and situation.
