As a Construction Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing one or more moderately complex projects, which may involve:
  • Clients with a regional presence; OR,
  • Projects that integrate multiple services from various offices; OR,
  • Other complexities such as legal issues, environmental considerations, and due diligence.
  • Managing all phases of projects from inception to completion.
  • Working independently while receiving guidance on specific tasks, objectives, and intricate challenges.
  • Consulting on unusual or complex issues and obtaining supervisory approval for project plans.
  • Supervising senior engineers across various disciplines, along with project administration, controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, and procurement teams.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a consultancy or client-side role with a proven ability to lead construction projects.
  • Expertise in pre and post-contract project management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC Contract Administration (accreditation is a plus).
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive project documentation (both physical and digital).
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying at the Master's level.
  • Chartered status with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or similar institutions.
  • APM affiliation is advantageous.
  • Experience with Prince 2 or MSP methodologies is desirable but not mandatory.
