Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and Down syndrome in a supported living service.
About the Service:
The service is based in a beautiful complex with five individual homes, where clients live independently with support. The complex features a farm, where residents help with animal care, gardening, and growing vegetables. They also create veg boxes for the local village and have a common room for arts and crafts, including woodwork, painting, and weaving.
Your Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide daily support to individuals with learning disabilities, including helping with everyday tasks, such as baking, preparing meals, and participating in activities. You will work closely with the team to ensure a sense of community and support among residents.
Shifts:
We offer flexible shifts, including weekdays (17:30-22:00) and weekends (7/7:30-17:30/22:00 or 17:30-22:00).
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
