About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Financial Support Specialist to join our team at HSBC. As a Financial Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our customers regain financial health by providing them with the tools and support they need to take control of their finances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers using effective questioning and listening skills to understand their individual and financial circumstances and needs.
  • Provide customer-centric solutions to help customers overcome financial difficulties and achieve their financial goals.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to identify and implement effective financial plans and strategies.
  • Utilize multiple systems to explore customer needs and bespoke requirements.
  • Treat customers fairly and put them at the heart of all interactions.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and mediation skills, with the ability to consult with customers to fully understand their financial needs.
  • The ability to solve practical problems, ask probing questions, and collect the right information to provide customer-centric solutions.
  • A high level of self-motivation, resilience, and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and build lasting relationships with customers.

Our full-time, contact centre colleagues will have rotational shifts of Monday to Friday 8AM to 6PM and one in three Saturdays 8AM to 4PM, working 35 hours per week.
