Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to become a vital member of our culinary team. Key Duties:

  • Food Preparation: Assist with essential food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and cooking to ensure all ingredients are ready for service.
  • Cooking Support: Aid the kitchen team during service by helping with cooking, plating, and ensuring that dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Sanitation: Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Learning & Growth: Seize every opportunity to learn from senior chefs, enhancing your culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stock management, including checking deliveries and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Some experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Culinary Skills: A basic understanding of cooking techniques and a genuine passion for food.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate well with colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to maintaining high standards in food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: £14 per hour.
  • Hours: 2330 per week.
