Sous Chef Opportunity at beBee Professionals

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Oldham, United Kingdom. As the second-in-command, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menu plans and food preparation strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and delivered on time, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training and developing junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and creative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
