Job Summary

Floryn House Care Home is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Respond to face-to-face inquiries and provide assistance to visitors and clients.
  • Provide secretarial support, maintain accurate records, and update resident information on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Perform general filing and record maintenance tasks.
  • Operate office equipment, including photocopiers.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the care home by working towards company policies and objectives.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role an asset.

  • A 24-hour per week contract, with alternating weekends.
