Job Summary
Floryn House Care Home is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Respond to face-to-face inquiries and provide assistance to visitors and clients.
- Provide secretarial support, maintain accurate records, and update resident information on a daily/weekly basis.
- Perform general filing and record maintenance tasks.
- Operate office equipment, including photocopiers.
- Contribute to the overall success of the care home by working towards company policies and objectives.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role an asset.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.49.
- A 24-hour per week contract, with alternating weekends.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including pension and DBS clearance.
- 5.6 weeks of annual leave (pro-rata for part-time employees).
