Key Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Estimator within our Energy Projects Sector to join our team. This role will be based at our headquarters and will involve supporting the Managing and Senior Estimators in developing estimates from first principles for various stages of the pricing process related to multi-disciplinary Energy Projects.
  • Prepare estimates in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze customer drawings and specifications to create precise costing sheets for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Evaluate design options and value solutions, assessing project viability based on sound estimating principles.
  • Document assumptions and identify risks and opportunities, including developing risk evaluations from a pricing and budgetary perspective.
  • Collaborate with project teams and supply chain partners to understand and refine proposed methodologies and principles.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A background with an Infrastructure Main Contractor
  • Experience in the Heavy Civil Engineering sector is preferred.
  • Progress towards Chartered status (e.g., ICE, CICES, RICS, CIOB).
  • Familiarity with Candy estimating software is advantageous but not mandatory.
